Got here sooner than expected
seems like i've been looking too much at the sun
not seeing the clouds that were trying to cover it up
to try and stop me from getting burned
I didn't listen
I wouldn't listen
I didn't want to think any thoughts but my own
had to make my own decisions
had to pave my own path
got up from behind their shadows
to face it on my own
still i refuse to believe
what is obviously being shown
no, i refuse to believe
that this is all i'll ever know
coz i'm looking deeper,
seeing what others cant really see
to take in everything
that life has decided to show me
I refuse to turn my back
I know i'll still be holding on
till I can find the answers
to the prayers i'll never let go of
till i can understand
till i can reach the sky
till the hands of time are met
I refuse to believe
that things wont ever change
I'll make them see
make you see
make me see
there's more to life than the visible
and its more than the impossible
because you've proven to me
that the impossible is merely nothing.
